Orchid World Cup Country Prediction Contest Official Rules
Last updated: June 20, 2026
1. Sponsor
The Orchid World Cup Country Prediction Contest ("Contest") is sponsored by Zero Email, Inc., a Delaware corporation with an address at 4409 Verbena Street, Midlothian, TX 76065 ("Orchid" or the "Sponsor").
This Contest is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with X Corp., FIFA, or any FIFA-affiliated organization.
2. Contest period
The Contest begins on June 20, 2026 at 12:00 AM Pacific Time and closes on July 20, 2026 at 11:59 PM Pacific Time ("Entry Period").
Entries submitted before or after the Entry Period are not eligible.
The final country rankings will be measured as of July 20, 2026 at 11:59 PM Pacific Time ("Final Measurement Time").
The Sponsor's systems and records are the official timekeeping and measurement systems for the Contest.
3. Eligibility
The Contest is open worldwide to natural persons who:
- Have reached the age of majority in their country, state, province, territory, or other jurisdiction of residence at the time of entry;
- Have a valid public X account;
- Can legally participate in the Contest and receive the prize in their jurisdiction; and
- Meet all other requirements in these Official Rules.
The Contest is void where prohibited or restricted by applicable law.
Residents of jurisdictions in which the Sponsor is prohibited from providing the prize because of sanctions, export-control restrictions, trade restrictions, local law, or other legal limitations are not eligible.
Employees, officers, directors, contractors, agents, and representatives of the Sponsor, and their immediate family or household members, are not eligible.
Entrants are responsible for determining whether their participation and receipt of the prize are lawful in their jurisdiction.
No purchase is necessary to enter or win. A purchase, subscription, or use of Orchid will not improve an entrant's score or chances of winning.
4. How to enter
To enter, an eligible entrant must:
- Locate the official Contest post published by @orchid_hq on X;
- Reply directly to that post during the Entry Period; and
- Include a clearly ranked prediction of the ten countries the entrant believes will have the greatest number of Orchid World Cup assistant users at the Final Measurement Time.
Predictions must be ranked from 1 through 10, with number 1 representing the country predicted to have the most users.
Each person may submit only one entry, regardless of how many X accounts they control.
An entry must contain exactly ten identifiable countries in a clear ranked order. Entries that are incomplete, unclear, automated, fraudulent, duplicated, or otherwise fail to comply with these Rules may be disqualified.
Using multiple accounts to submit additional entries is prohibited and may result in all entries associated with that person being disqualified.
An entrant may delete and replace their prediction before the Entry Period closes. Only the entrant's most recent valid reply submitted before the deadline will be scored.
Edited replies may be disqualified if the Sponsor cannot reliably verify that the final prediction was submitted before the deadline.
Entrants are not required to:
- Purchase an Orchid subscription;
- Become an Orchid user;
- Follow Orchid on X;
- Repost the Contest post; or
- Tag other users.
5. Countries currently represented
At the beginning of the Contest, Orchid had identified users in the following countries:
Argentina, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Dominican Republic, Egypt, Ethiopia, Finland, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Iran, Ireland, Italy, Mexico, Netherlands, Nigeria, Poland, Saudi Arabia, Spain, Sri Lanka, Sweden, Switzerland, Ukraine, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, United States, and Venezuela.
This list is provided as background information only.
Entrants may predict countries that are not included in the current list. Countries may enter, leave, or change position within the final top ten as Orchid gains or loses users.
6. Determining a user's country
The final ranking will be based on the number of unique Orchid World Cup assistant users attributed to each country at the Final Measurement Time.
The Sponsor will ordinarily determine a user's country using one or more of the following:
- The international country code associated with the user's phone number;
- A country or location expressly provided or confirmed by the user;
- A timezone, address, account setting, or other reliable location information provided by the user; or
- Other reliable account records available to the Sponsor.
A person's name, email domain, language, favourite team, or other indirect signal will not, by itself, conclusively establish their country.
Each unique user will be counted no more than once.
The Sponsor may exclude:
- Duplicate accounts;
- Test or internal accounts;
- Automated or fraudulent activity;
- Spam accounts;
- Accounts created primarily to manipulate the Contest;
- Users whose country cannot be determined with reasonable confidence; and
- Any activity that the Sponsor reasonably determines does not represent a genuine user.
The Sponsor may correct clear classification, duplication, or counting errors before announcing the final results.
Only aggregate country totals and rankings will be published. Private phone numbers, email addresses, and personal account information will not be published.
7. Ties between countries
If two or more countries have the same number of users at the Final Measurement Time, the country that first reached the tied number of users will rank higher.
If the Sponsor cannot reliably determine which country reached the tied number first, the tied countries will be ranked alphabetically by their commonly used English names.
This country-ranking tie-break procedure applies only to determining the final country standings.
8. Scoring entries
Each valid entry will receive:
- One point for each predicted country that appears anywhere in Orchid's final top ten; and
- One additional point for each predicted country placed in its exact final position.
The maximum possible score is 20 points.
Example
If an entrant predicts Canada and Canada appears anywhere in the final top ten, the entrant receives one point.
If the entrant also places Canada in its exact final ranking position, the entrant receives one additional point.
9. Selecting the winner
The eligible entrant with the highest total score will be selected as the potential winner.
If two or more entrants receive the same total score, the tie will be resolved in this order:
- The entrant with the greatest number of countries in their exact final positions;
- If still tied, the entrant with the greatest number of correctly included countries;
- If still tied, the entrant whose valid prediction was submitted earliest during the Entry Period.
The Contest is based on prediction and skill. The winner will not be selected randomly.
The Sponsor's decisions regarding eligibility, scoring, country attribution, final rankings, and tie-breaking are final, subject to applicable law and correction of obvious errors.
10. Prize
One verified winner will receive:
One year of Orchid base plan at no charge.
The approximate retail value of the prize is US$348.
The subscription must begin within 30 days after the winner is confirmed, unless the Sponsor agrees otherwise in writing.
The prize:
- Has no cash alternative;
- Is non-transferable unless the Sponsor agrees otherwise;
- Cannot be exchanged for another product or service;
- Cannot be combined with another promotion; and
- Is subject to Orchid's standard Terms of Service, acceptable-use policies, supported regions, and technical availability.
The prize does not include messaging fees, carrier fees, internet access, devices, taxes, or any other costs not expressly stated in these Rules.
The winner is responsible for all applicable taxes, reporting requirements, charges, and expenses associated with accepting or using the prize.
11. Legal and technical availability
The prize is subject to Orchid being legally and technically available in the winner's jurisdiction.
The Sponsor is not required to provide the prize where doing so would violate:
- United States sanctions or export-control laws;
- Applicable trade restrictions;
- Local laws or regulations;
- Third-party platform restrictions; or
- Orchid's technical or service-availability limitations.
If the selected winner resides somewhere the Sponsor cannot legally or technically provide the advertised prize, the Sponsor may, where legally permitted:
- Offer a reasonably equivalent alternative prize;
- Select the next-highest-scoring eligible entrant; or
- Take another reasonable action consistent with applicable law.
No entrant is entitled to a cash payment solely because Orchid is unavailable in their jurisdiction.
12. Winner notification and verification
The Sponsor expects to determine and contact the potential winner by July 27, 2026.
The potential winner will be contacted through a public reply or direct message from Orchid's official X account.
The potential winner must respond within seven days of the first notification.
The potential winner may be required to:
- Provide their full legal name;
- Confirm their age and country of residence;
- Demonstrate control of the X account used to enter;
- Confirm compliance with these Rules;
- Complete eligibility, release, tax, or prize-acceptance documents where reasonably required; and
- Complete any legally required skill-testing or verification procedure.
Where required by Canadian law or reasonably requested by the Sponsor, a Canadian potential winner must correctly answer, without assistance, a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question before being confirmed as the winner.
If the potential winner:
- Cannot be contacted;
- Does not respond in time;
- Fails verification;
- Provides false or incomplete information;
- Is prohibited from receiving the prize;
- Does not comply with these Rules; or
- Fails any legally required skill-testing question,
the Sponsor may select the entrant with the next-highest score.
13. Public nature of entries
Entries posted as replies on X are public.
By entering, each entrant acknowledges that Orchid may publicly reference their:
- X display name;
- X username;
- Submitted prediction;
- Final score; and
- Status as the winner.
The Sponsor will not use an entrant's image, likeness, or personal information in unrelated paid advertising without any additional permission required by applicable law.
Entrants should not include private information such as a phone number, email address, home address, identification document, or date of birth in a public reply.
14. Entry conduct
Entries must not contain content that is unlawful, abusive, threatening, hateful, discriminatory, defamatory, sexually explicit, infringing, deceptive, or otherwise inappropriate.
Entrants must not:
- Impersonate another person;
- Use bots, scripts, or automated entry methods;
- Submit entries through multiple accounts;
- Interfere with the Contest;
- Attempt to manipulate Orchid's country statistics;
- Create false or duplicate Orchid accounts;
- Encourage fraudulent account creation; or
- Engage in conduct that undermines the fairness or integrity of the Contest.
The Sponsor may disqualify any entrant it reasonably believes has violated these Rules or attempted to manipulate the Contest.
15. Privacy
Personal information collected in connection with the Contest may be used to:
- Administer the Contest;
- Verify eligibility;
- Contact the potential winner;
- Deliver the prize;
- Comply with legal and tax requirements;
- Prevent fraud or abuse; and
- Maintain necessary Contest records.
Personal information will be handled in accordance with Orchid's Privacy Policy at orchid.ai/legal/privacy and applicable privacy law.
Information may be processed or stored in the United States or other countries where the Sponsor or its service providers operate.
16. Technical and platform problems
The Sponsor is not responsible for entries that are lost, late, incomplete, corrupted, misdirected, deleted, hidden, unavailable, or not received because of:
- Platform outages;
- Connectivity problems;
- Account privacy settings;
- X moderation or filtering;
- Deleted or suspended accounts;
- Technical failures; or
- Other circumstances outside the Sponsor's reasonable control.
Proof that an entrant attempted to publish an entry does not prove that the Sponsor received a valid entry.
If the Contest cannot operate as planned because of fraud, technical failure, platform changes, legal restrictions, security issues, or another event beyond the Sponsor's reasonable control, the Sponsor may modify, suspend, extend, or cancel the Contest, subject to applicable law.
Material changes will be announced through Orchid's official X account or on this page.
17. Prize substitution
The Sponsor may substitute a prize of equal or greater approximate retail value if the advertised prize becomes unavailable for reasons beyond its reasonable control.
Any substitution remains subject to applicable law and the legal and technical availability requirements in these Rules.
18. Release and limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, entrants release the Sponsor and its officers, directors, employees, contractors, representatives, agents, affiliates, and service providers from claims arising from:
- Participation in the Contest;
- Acceptance or use of the prize;
- Technical failures;
- Unauthorized human intervention;
- Errors in administration or scoring; or
- Injury, loss, or damage caused by acceptance or use of the prize.
Nothing in these Rules excludes or limits liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
19. Governing law
Except where an entrant's local law requires otherwise, the Contest and these Official Rules are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware and applicable federal laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Subject to any non-waivable rights under applicable local law, disputes relating to the Contest will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in New Castle County, Delaware, and entrants consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.
20. Conflict between materials
If the Contest post, replies, graphics, promotional materials, or other statements conflict with these Official Rules, these Official Rules will govern.
A typographical, technical, administrative, or publishing error does not entitle an entrant to a prize.
21. X and FIFA disclaimer
X is not a sponsor of the Contest and is not responsible for its administration, scoring, or awarding of the prize.
By participating, entrants release X from claims arising from or connected with the Contest to the extent permitted by law.
