Software Engineer, Infrastructure

Orchid runs on Cloudflare Workers, Durable Objects, and Convex. There's a lot of long-running agent work, webhook traffic, and paths where latency actually matters.

You'll keep execution durable, retries safe, and alerts useful so product can ship without waking people up at 3am.

What you'll do

• Own worker and DO execution patterns for SMS, voice, and agent runtimes
• Improve reliability around webhooks, queues, idempotency, and failure recovery
• Shape Convex schema, indexes, and migrations with scale in mind
• Add observability where it counts: traces, audits, alerts people act on
• Work with product engineers on performance, timeouts, and deploy safety

Nice to have

• Experience with Cloudflare Workers or similar edge runtimes
• Comfort debugging distributed, at-least-once systems
• Opinions about what belongs in prompts vs code
